Third Phase of ‘With Ruma Devi – Women Empowerment Dialogue’ Program Organized in Sirohi

Jaipur, Sept 2025 Minister of State for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Disaster Management, Relief and Civil Security Department, Shri Otaram Devasai, said that the women of Sirohi can move forward by taking inspiration from Ruma Devi. He said that to promote small cottage industries in Sirohi district, the state government is providing opportunities through Rajeevika. The main objective of this program was to organize the women of the district, encourage them towards entrepreneurship, discuss the challenges they face, and connect them with new opportunities towards self-reliance.

Brand Ambassador of Rajasthan Rural Livelihood Development Council (Rajeevika), Dr. Ruma Devi, while presiding over the Women Empowerment Dialogue program organized at Panihari Garden at the district headquarters, called upon all women to unite, adopt entrepreneurship through mutual cooperation, and move forward towards self-reliance. During the program, she said that today’s women, by forming self-help groups, using modern technology, and mutual help, have the ability to establish big industries even in the smallest villages.

She expressed this view before hundreds of women present during the ‘With Ruma Devi – Women Empowerment Dialogue’ program organized in the district with the joint support of Rajeevika and Ruma Devi Foundation.

On this occasion, more than 700 women openly discussed issues related to employment, entrepreneurship, and social awareness and proved that women are not limited only to home and family, but have become a strong link in economic and social transformation.
