National Poster Design Competition on Various Welfare Schemes and InitiativesAnnouncement by Cultural Affairs Minister Ashish Shelar

Mumbai, Sept 2025 : State Cultural Affairs Minister Adv. Ashish Shelar announced that a National Poster Design Competition is being organized on various welfare schemes, campaigns, and initiatives that are shaping the future of the nation. He appealed to both emerging talents and renowned artists to participate in this competition.

A meeting regarding the competition was held at P. L. Deshpande Maharashtra Kala Academy, Prabhadevi, in the presence of Dadasaheb Phalke Chitranagari Managing Director Swati Mhase Patil, P. L. Deshpande Maharashtra Kala Academy Director Meenal Joglekar, and Joint Managing Director Prashant Sajnikkar.

The National Poster Design Competition is being organized by the Department of Cultural Affairs and the Maharashtra Film, Stage, and Cultural Development Corporation. The theme of the competition is “Turn Vision into Art: Design the Poster, Celebrate the Decade.” The competition is open to all citizens.

Topics for the competition include: Make in India, Digital India, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Aatmanirbhar Bharat, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Skill India, Waves Summit, Climate Change, Yoga, among others.

Participants must upload their posters in A2 size, in PDF, JPEG, or PNG (high resolution), on the website www.pmvision2art.com by October 7.

A total of 75 successful winners will be honored with prizes, trophies, and certificates. Their artworks will also be displayed in leading art galleries, and further included in a special coffee-table book. The competition has received special support from the Advertising Agencies Association of India.
