Complete MSRDC Road Projects with Quality and Timeliness – Minister of State Meghana Sakore-Bordikar

Mumbai, Oct 2025: Minister of State for Public Works, Meghana Sakore-Bordikar, has directed that all projects undertaken through the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) must be completed on time, maintaining the highest standards of quality and transparency.

She was speaking at a review meeting held at the MSRDC headquarters, Nirmal Bhavan, Nariman Point. Minister of State Dr. Pankaj Bhoyar, MSRDC Vice-Chairman and Managing Director Anilkumar Gaikwad, Joint Managing Director Manuj Jindal, and General Manager (Land Survey Department) Ramdas Khedekar, along with other senior officials, were present at the meeting.

Minister Sakore-Bordikar emphasized that all road projects should be executed meticulously to ensure public convenience and smooth transportation. “There should be no delays in the pace of project implementation. Each project’s technical and geographical aspects have been thoroughly reviewed. These works will help reduce travel distances, save time and fuel, and make commuting more convenient,” she said, instructing officials to ensure systematic and well-planned execution.

During the meeting, progress reports were presented on key infrastructure projects including the Rewas–Reddi National Highway (specifically the 13 to 15 km stretch in Guhagar taluka, proposed for re-survey and redesign), the Virar–Alibag Highway, the Nashik City Ring Road, and the Bhandara–Gadchiroli Expressway.

Minister Sakore-Bordikar reiterated that the state government is committed to ensuring that every MSRDC project contributes to improved connectivity, enhanced safety, and greater efficiency in Maharashtra’s road infrastructure network.
