9th SSB Recruit Batch Passes Out in Alwar; Nation’s Borders Safe Due to Discipline and Dedication of Armed Forces – Forest Minister

Jaipur, Oct 2025: The Passing Out Parade of the 9th Basic Training Batch of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) was held on Friday at the Recruit Training Centre, Maujpur (Alwar district). Minister of State for Forest and Environment (Independent Charge) Sanjay Sharma attended the ceremony as Chief Guest, took the salute, and felicitated the outstanding recruits. The trainees took an oath to remain ever-ready to serve the nation on land, air, and sea.

Congratulating the recruits for successfully completing their training, Minister Sharma said that joining the SSB and serving the nation fulfills their long-cherished dream, marking a new beginning in their lives. He lauded the armed forces for their remarkable service during emergencies and disasters.

Highlighting the country’s growing strength, he said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a new India has emerged—one where the armed forces have been given the freedom to strike decisively against foreign threats and are now equipped with modern indigenous weaponry. He added that domestic defense manufacturing has expanded rapidly in recent years.

Minister Sharma also informed that, on the initiative of Alwar MP and Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav, a proposal has been sent to Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari for constructing a slip lane from the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway to the Maujpur Training Centre, which has received in-principle approval. He also planted saplings in the campus, conveying a message of environment conservation.

SSB Deputy Inspector General Sanjeev Yadav expressed gratitude to the guests and shared that 23 constables of the 9th batch underwent 44 weeks of intensive training, focusing on combat skills and disaster management.

  • Best Indoor Trainee: Constable Ankush Ranjan
  • Best Outdoor Trainee: Constable Bishwajit Roy
  • Best in Drill & Turnout: Constable Bapi Bhowmik

On the occasion, certificates were also awarded to the recruits under a MoU between Rashtriya Raksha University (Gandhinagar) and the SSB RTC, Alwar, recognizing their training with academic accreditation. The event also featured spirited and skillful performances by trainees and personnel.

Senior officials, public representatives, GST Commissioner Sumit Kumar Yadav, SSB officers, personnel, and families of recruits were present during the ceremony.
