CM Pushkar Singh Dhami offers prayers at the ancient and sacred Jageshwar Dham Temple, seeks peace and prosperity for the people of Uttarakhand

Oct 2025 : Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami performed a ritual worship at the ancient and spiritually significant Jageshwar Dham Temple in Almora, praying for the happiness, prosperity, peace, and well-being of the people of the state.

During his visit, the Chief Minister offered prayers to Lord Jageshwar (Lord Shiva), seeking the state’s continued progress, social harmony, and the welfare of its citizens.

He said that Jageshwar Dham is the spiritual heart of Uttarakhand, and visiting this divine shrine brings an extraordinary sense of peace and energy.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister also interacted with temple priests, local devotees, and administrative officials after performing the rituals in the temple premises.

He emphasized the government’s commitment to strengthening religious tourism in the region by prioritizing the development and preservation of basic infrastructure and facilities around the temple complex.

Chief Minister Dhami stated that the government aims to develop Uttarakhand’s pilgrimage sites not only as centres of devotion and faith, but also as hubs of tourism, employment, and cultural identity.
