Gajendra Yadav Performs Bhoomi Pujan for the New State Headquarters Building of Bharat Scouts and Guides
Raipur, Nov 2025 : School Education Minister Shri Gajendra Yadav today attended the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony for the construction of the new State Headquarters building of the Bharat Scouts and Guides. The event was held at the premises of the Board of Secondary Education, Pensionbada, where he participated as the chief guest.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Yadav said, “The spirit with which the Scouts and Guides organisation was established must always be preserved. Scouts and Guides teach us to live joyfully. All training institutions in the state will be further strengthened and made more efficient.”
He also assured that with the Bhoomi Pujan completed today, the construction of the state office building will be finished within one year, after which it will be inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister.
State Chief Commissioner Shri Inderjit Singh Khalsa, present as a distinguished guest, highlighted the objectives of the Scouts and Guides movement and its important role in youth empowerment. Other notable guests included Pushpa Sahu, Secretary of the Board of Secondary Education, Raipur; State Treasurer Shri Murlidhar Sharma; and Shri G. Swami.
The welcome address was delivered by State Secretary of Bharat Scouts and Guides, Shri Jitendra Kumar Sahu.
On this occasion, District Education Officer Himanshu Bharti, State Training Commissioner Sarita Pandey, and Scouts and Guides members, officers, and staff from various districts of the state were present in large numbers.
