“Flag of Ram Rajya Now Flies Over Ayodhya Temple,” Says RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat

Nov 2025 : RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Tuesday declared that the “flag of Ram Rajya” now flies proudly over the Ayodhya temple, marking the completion of the grand Ram Temple’s construction in Uttar Pradesh. The milestone moment came as a special saffron flag—22 feet long and 11 feet wide—was ceremonially hoisted atop the temple’s 191-foot main tower.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Mohan Bhagwat jointly offered prayers to Shri Balram, the deity of the Ayodhya temple, before proceeding with the flag-hoisting ceremony. The event drew thousands of devotees who gathered to witness the historic moment.

Addressing the devotees, Bhagwat described the day as one filled with “joy and satisfaction.” He paid homage to the countless individuals who contributed to the Ram Temple movement over the decades. “Many people have sacrificed for this. All those souls will surely find peace today. Ashok Singhal would have found peace,” he said, referring to the late VHP leader who played a pivotal role in the temple campaign.

Bhagwat also remembered figures such as Mahant Ramchandra Das and Vishnu Hari Dalmia, along with numerous saints, volunteers, and students whose dedication and sacrifices paved the way for this achievement. He emphasized that even those who were not present to see the temple’s completion would have their long-held dreams realized today.

“The temple is now built, and the flag has been hoisted. The flag of Ram Rajya, which brought peace to the world, flies high above the temple,” he remarked. Reflecting on the long struggle, Bhagwat noted that although the movement spanned centuries, the final phase alone took 30 years of sustained effort.

The ceremony marks a significant spiritual and cultural milestone, symbolizing the fulfillment of a historic vision long cherished by millions.
