Government Committed to Resolving Issues of Subsidized Hostel Staff – Minister Shambhuraj Desai
Mumbai : The government is actively working to address the concerns of subsidized hostel staff. Excise Minister Shambhuraj Desai emphasized today that this is a government for the common people, committed to ensuring justice for everyone.
A statewide convention of subsidized hostel employees was organized at Yashwantrao Chavan Auditorium, where Minister Desai spoke. The event was attended by former minister Laxman Dhoble, MLA Sanjay Savkare, Regional Deputy Commissioner of the Social Justice Department Avinash Devsatwar, and organization officials including Anil Kolhe, Satish Gotmukle, Maroti Kamble, and Mrs. Mayure.
Minister Desai highlighted that during the Nagpur convention, subsidized hostel workers had organized a march to press for various demands. In response, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde had called for a meeting in Mumbai to discuss these issues. A positive discussion took place, and the government is taking steps to meet the demands of the employees.
Additionally, Minister Desai mentioned the government’s commitment to uplifting the Sakal Matang community by establishing the ‘Arty’ organization, which has already started its office operations. Under the Chief Minister’s Ladki Bahin Yojana, 1500 rupees per month will be directly deposited into the bank accounts of women, providing them with financial support.
MLA Sanjay Savkare also shared his thoughts during the program, while Satish Gotmukle provided an introduction. Maroti Kamble expressed his views as well. The event saw the participation of a large number of subsidized hostel staff.
