 Sai government provided assistance of Rs 135.96 crore to labour families

After the formation of the new government in Chhattisgarh under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, various labor welfare schemes being run for the labor families are being implemented in a better way. So far, 01 lakh 30 thousand labor families have been benefited from various schemes run by the Labor Department. Assistance amounting to more than Rs. 135 crore 96 lakh 59 thousand has been given under these schemes. It is worth noting that during the weekly Jan Darshan program organized in his residential office today, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai distributed cheques of assistance amounting to a total of Rs. 11.41 crore under various schemes to 6 thousand 205 beneficiaries on behalf of the Labor Department.

Labor Department officials informed that under Chhattisgarh Bhawan and Other Construction Workers Board, from 13 December 2023 to today 08 August, in the Jandarshan program organized at the Chief Minister’s residence and programs organized in the districts, assistance of Rs 46 crore 61 lakh 60 thousand has been provided to 23 thousand 308 beneficiaries under the Chief Minister Noni Empowerment Assistance Scheme. Similarly, 29 thousand 161 beneficiaries have been given Rs 58 crore 31 lakh 75 thousand under Minimata Mahtari Jatan Scheme, 1396 beneficiaries have been given Rs 2 crore 39 lakh 42 thousand under Chief Minister Noni Babu Medhavi Shiksha Sahayata Yojana, 828 beneficiaries have been given assistance of Rs 8 crore 40 lakh under Chief Minister Nirman Shramik Mrityu and Divyang Sahayata Yojana. Under the Mukhyamantri Shramik Siyaan Sahayata Yojana, 1 crore 99 lakh 40 thousand rupees have been provided to 997 beneficiaries, under the Mukhyamantri Nirman Shramik Awas Sahayata Yojana, 2 crore 87 lakh rupees have been provided to 287 beneficiaries and under the Mukhyamantri Nainihal Scholarship Yojana, 15 crore 37 lakh 42 thousand rupees have been provided to 74 thousand 322 students. This amount has been transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries through DBT.
