Minister Lakshmi Rajwade Performs Foundation Laying for Development Works Worth Over ₹1.57 Crore under Chief Minister Gram Gaurav Path Scheme
Raipur, December 2025 : Minister Lakshmi Rajwade participated in foundation-laying ceremonies for development works under the Chief Minister Gram Gaurav Path Scheme in various villages of Surajpur district today. During the program, she laid the foundation for construction works worth a total of ₹1.57 crore, approved to strengthen rural infrastructure.
Under the scheme, Minister Rajwade performed the foundation-laying for several key projects:
- In Kaskeela village, ₹26.05 lakh was allocated for CC road and drain construction.
- In Silfili village, ₹76.74 lakh was approved for road construction.
- In Ganeshpur village, ₹37.48 lakh was sanctioned for CC road and drain construction.
- In Karmpur village, ₹17.07 lakh was allocated for CC road and drain construction.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Rajwade stated that the Chief Minister Gram Gaurav Path Scheme is a significant initiative designed to accelerate development in rural areas. She emphasized that through this scheme, the rapid expansion of roads, drains, and other basic facilities will not only improve mobility but also enhance sanitation and overall living standards in villages.
The minister added that the state government is continuously prioritizing development works in public interest and is committed to empowering every village with improved infrastructure and amenities.
