Rajasthan Progressing Rapidly Under CM Bhajanlal Sharma: Development Rath Flagged Off in Churu

Jaipur, Dec 2025: Social Justice and Empowerment Minister and Churu District In-Charge Minister, Avinash Gehlot, on Friday flagged off development raths themed “Badhata Rajasthan—Hamaro Rajasthan” from the District Council premises to mark the completion of two years of the state government. These raths will travel across all assembly constituencies to showcase the government’s achievements and raise public awareness about welfare schemes.

Addressing the event, Minister Gehlot said that under the capable leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, Rajasthan is progressing rapidly, with the government establishing new dimensions of development over the past two years. He emphasized that the raths will also carry suggestion boxes, allowing citizens to provide feedback on development initiatives, policies, and welfare programs, which the government will actively consider for future implementation.

Minister Gehlot highlighted the government’s commitment, under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to uplift the poor, youth, women, and farmers. He urged the public to actively participate in various programs organized to celebrate the two-year milestone and contribute to the realization of a developed Rajasthan.

The event saw the presence of Churu MLA Harlal Saharan, District Collector Abhishek Surana, ADM Arpita Soni, CEO Shweta Kochar, along with other public representatives, officials, and citizens.

During a press briefing at the Churu District Council auditorium, Minister Gehlot elaborated on the government’s accomplishments over the past two years. He stated that the state has achieved historic progress in social security, education, healthcare, employment, infrastructure, and the welfare of women and children, describing the tenure as two years of good governance, development, and public trust. The administration has emphasized transparency, accountability, and responsive governance.

Gehlot reported that over 70% of the promises in the government’s 392-point manifesto have been either fulfilled or are in progress. Budget announcements have seen a 73% implementation rate, and Rajasthan ranks first in 11 national projects, second in 5 schemes, and third in 9 initiatives. The government has ensured that schemes reach citizens directly, delivering tangible benefits at the grassroots level.

He added that the media, administration, and public participation are key to achieving the vision of a developed Rajasthan. Gehlot called upon media outlets to highlight government achievements and ensure their message reaches every section of society.

Notable development initiatives in Churu include bringing Yamuna water to the Shekhawati region through the Yamuna water agreement, with alignment works underway. Of the 93 Rising Rajasthan MOUs in Churu, 59 have seen ground-breaking, and a College of Agriculture has been established. Regular monitoring of all schemes ensures that district residents receive appropriate benefits.

The event showcased the government’s focus on inclusive development, citizen engagement, and sustainable progress, highlighting how Rajasthan is advancing steadily under strong leadership.
