Free Coaching Gives Wings to Youthful Dreams
Raipur, December 2025 : Dreams are not those that come while sleeping, but those that keep one awake. Guided by this belief, daughters from the tribal-dominated Kondagaon district of the state have given direction to their lives and have today been selected for the Home Guards and the District Police Force. The Chhattisgarh government is committed to shaping the future of youth and is providing them with multiple opportunities to move forward. In this direction, the Kondagaon district administration arranged free coaching to help young people realise their dreams, an initiative that has given wings to the aspirations of many youths in the district.
Clear Goals Made the Path Easier for Jagbati Markam
When Jagbati Markam, a resident of Malakot village, reached the Lakshya Coaching Centre, she had dreams that required the right strategy and guidance. At the coaching centre, she was taught that preparation for competitive examinations is not just about studying, but also about structured planning, regular practice, and self-confidence.
Jagbati received proper direction for exam preparation. She was guided on how to plan her studies, manage time, and understand subjects effectively. As a result, Jagbati was also selected for the District Police Force.
Before joining the coaching centre, Jagbati was pursuing a Master’s degree in Sociology. She had appeared for the NET examination twice and narrowly missed qualifying the SET exam by just 12 marks. Instead of discouraging her, this failure became a learning experience. She came to know about Lakshya Coaching through friends and says that the coaching centre gave her goal a new direction.
Financial Hardship Did Not Stop Neelam Markam
The story of Neelam Markam from Pali village is an example of struggle, courage, and confidence. Before being recruited into the Home Guards, Neelam was studying in the third year of BSc while also preparing for the CGPSC examination.
Neelam said she wanted to join coaching for CGPSC preparation but lacked the financial resources. However, when she learned that the district administration was offering coaching completely free of cost, a new ray of hope emerged. Teachers at Lakshya Coaching not only strengthened her academically but also mentally.
During this time, the notification for Home Guard recruitment was released. Neelam applied and began preparing with full dedication. She said that two youths from her village were preparing for the Chhattisgarh Police Force, and she began physical training along with them. After clearing the physical test, her confidence grew further, and she focused on written exam preparation.
At the same time, her college examinations were also underway. Preparing for two exams simultaneously was challenging, and she admitted to being nervous before the exams. However, with proper time management and teachers’ guidance, she prepared well and succeeded. Neelam said she will continue preparing for competitive examinations in the future and will not give up her studies.
Ranjana Rana Achieved Success Through Discipline and Hard Work
Ranjana Rana, a resident of Mardapal, comes from a farming family and is the youngest among four siblings. Before her selection in the Home Guards, she was preparing for CGPSC through Lakshya Coaching Centre. When the Home Guard post was announced, she immediately applied.
For physical preparation, Ranjana included regular running in her daily routine, which made the physical test easier for her. She also found the written exam manageable as she was already preparing for competitive exams.
Ranjana follows a highly disciplined routine—waking up at 4 a.m., running, studying, and then attending coaching at 9 a.m. She says the teachers explain subjects in a simple and effective manner, making learning easier. Ranjana aspires to progress further in life and will continue preparing for competitive exams.
Determination Turned Dreams into Reality
Similarly, Baliram Baghel from Nevra village, located about 35 km from Kondagaon district headquarters, set an inspiring example through hard work and dedication. After completing college, he worked as a tutor in his village school for three years. When the temporary position ended, he did not lose hope. He came to Kondagaon and began preparing for competitive exams.
He joined the Lakshya Free Coaching Institute run by the district administration, where guidance from subject experts, regular study, and a disciplined routine helped him succeed. Baliram was selected for the Chhattisgarh Police Force, fulfilling his dream.
Likewise, Manoj Netam from Bafna village also prepared effectively for competitive exams through Lakshya Coaching Centre. Despite limited resources, Manoj relied on consistent practice, physical training, and teachers’ guidance. As a result, he too was selected for the Chhattisgarh Police Force.
