‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ is being held from August 13 to 15
Lucknow : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign in the state on Tuesday as part of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’. From August 13 to 15, 1.4 crore students from council schools will actively participate in the campaign, culminating on August 15. The Basic Education Department, having completed all preparations, has begun the implementation.
Under the leadership of Basic Education Minister (Independent Charge) Sandeep Singh and with the oversight of departmental officials, Meena Manch members have commenced the process of hoisting the tricolour. This will continue for three days, with the flag being raised after sunrise and lowered before sunset for safekeeping.
On August 15, around 1.4 crore children from council schools across the state will participate in this initiative.
As part of the Yogi government’s ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, the national flag will be unfurled at all government and non-government institutions, schools, and homes from August 13 to 15. This campaign aims to foster patriotism and instil respect for the symbols of independence among the state’s citizens.
On Tuesday, Meena Manch officials began hoisting the tricolour on their school premises after sunrise. This routine will continue until August 15, with the flag being lowered before sunset each day.
Officials have been instructed to take a selfie and submit it to the department during this process.
The Yogi Adityanath government has spared no effort to ensure the success of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. In addition to the arrangements made for various departments, specific provisions have been made for Basic Education.
The government has already issued directives to all District Magistrates regarding the distribution of flags to Basic Education institutions.
The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign was grandly and successfully executed in 2022 and 2023 under the Yogi government’s leadership.
All state departments participated enthusiastically, achieving the goal of hoisting the tricolor on all inhabited houses, government and non-government offices, and educational institutions across the state.
During these years, a remarkable record was set, with an impressive five crore and 4.5 crore tricolours hoisted on government and non-government buildings, respectively.
