Beltra MLA Sushant Shukla and District Panchayat President Rajesh Suryavanshi welcomed the pilgrims with flower garlands and extended their best wishes for a smooth and auspicious journey.
The railway station resonated with religious fervour as pilgrims raised slogans of “Jai Siya Ram” and “Har Har Mahadev”, filling the surroundings with devotion. Women, elderly citizens, and youth alike were immersed in spiritual joy. Continuous bhajan and kirtan programmes were organised at the station, adding to the devotional ambience. Officials and staff from the district administration, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, and IRCTC welcomed the pilgrims with garlands and ensured that all arrangements were in place for a comfortable journey.
The state government has ensured comprehensive facilities for pilgrims under the Ram Lalla Darshan Yojana. These include free rail travel, vegetarian meals on the train, medical facilities, and night-stay accommodations. Darshan at Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi is also included in the itinerary. The IRCTC-operated train is equipped with sleeper coaches, along with robust arrangements for cleanliness and security. So far, more than 37,000 devotees have visited Ram Lalla in Ayodhya under the Ram Lalla Darshan Yojana of the Chhattisgarh government.
