Modern Control Room Ready to Strengthen Ram Temple Security
Ayodhya, January 2026 : To ensure the security of the Ram Temple, the Yogi government has taken a significant step by completing a modern administrative building and control room just outside the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirth area. Constructed on 12,000 sq. ft. of police department land, the building was completed at a cost of ₹11.28 crore. The project has been executed under the Home Department, with construction initiated in December 2023 through the C&DS construction agency.
The G+1 building features a basement where the main control room will be located. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, this control room will allow real-time monitoring of CCTV footage, crowd management, traffic control, and emergency services.
Key Features:
The building, situated near the Ved Mandir, includes several modern facilities under internal site development. These include a cement concrete road (CC Road), rainwater harvesting system, external drainage, air-conditioning, borewell with submersible pump, high-speed lift, full electrification, strong boundary wall, MS gate, and a 160 KVA diesel generator set. These facilities make the building environmentally friendly, energy-efficient, and self-sufficient in emergencies.
Strict Surveillance:
Project Manager Devvrat Pawar of C&DS stated that 98% of the work is complete, with the boundary wall still in progress. The building will soon be ready for inauguration, after which it will be fully operational. Managed by the police department, the new building will closely monitor all activities around the Ram Janmabhoomi complex, ensuring enhanced security.
