A district-level launch program was also held at the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in Udaipur Municipal Corporation, under the chief patronage of Tribal Area Development Minister Shri Babulal Kharadi. A total of 89 ILR circles in Udaipur district will host Gram Utthan Camps, providing citizens access to welfare schemes from multiple departments at a single location.
Addressing the gathering, Minister Shri Babulal Kharadi highlighted that even after 78 years of independence, farmers continue to face a lack of basic facilities. He emphasized that under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership, the country is progressing rapidly.
The minister noted that the government has addressed past corruption in the NREGA scheme through foundational reforms under the VBG Ram Ji Act, ensuring direct benefits to the poor. He further stated that efforts are underway to increase the Kisan Samman Nidhi to ₹12,000. Additionally, recruitment examinations are now being conducted fairly and transparently.
Minister Kharadi urged the public to take maximum advantage of the Gram Utthan Camps to benefit from the welfare initiatives being offered.
