Ayodhya, November 2026 : The grand Aarti to be held on the banks of the Saryu during Ayodhya Deepotsav-2026 will not remain limited to a religious ritual this year, but will also convey the message of women’s empowerment, spiritual consciousness and social harmony. Around 60 sisters associated with Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, under the leadership of Brahma Kumari Shashi, will participate in the Saryu Aarti. For this purpose, all of them are regularly rehearsing the Aarti at the Saryu Ghat. These sisters, who will participate in the Aarti dressed in white, will convey the message of love, peace, purity and unity.

Brahma Kumari Shashi said that the objective of the organisation is to connect people with the teachings of God and noble conduct. The concept of Ram Rajya should not remain limited to merely praising it; rather, it is equally important to imbibe its values in one’s behaviour and character. Ram Rajya was characterised by love, peace, mutual cooperation, goodwill and unity. Today, there is a need to promote a spirit of working for the welfare of others and the well-being of society in place of jealousy, animosity and the desire for revenge. The organisation is working to create awareness among people in this direction.

She informed that 15 to 20 brothers and sisters of the organisation live in Ayodhya in complete dedication, while around 150 to 200 brothers and sisters are associated with the organisation while living with their families. The dedicated members, through spiritual practice and penance, work to connect people visiting the place with the teachings of God. In this way, women’s participation is becoming a means of social and spiritual awareness alongside the religious event.

Brahma Kumari Shailja expressed happiness at getting the opportunity to participate in the Saryu Aarti for the second consecutive year and said that this is a very beautiful initiative through which people are coming together to express their sentiments towards religion and faith. This year, more than 60 members will participate in it. Such events awaken devotion towards religion and noble thoughts in people’s minds. When thoughts and emotions are noble, they inspire individuals to perform good deeds.

She appreciated the Yogi government’s initiative to give the Saryu Aarti a grand form and connect various organisations with it.

Speaking about the changes in Ayodhya following the construction of the Ram Temple, Brahma Kumari Archana said that changes are visible in the city in terms of roads, cleanliness and other facilities. Earlier, Ayodhya was known in a limited context, but today people from across the country and the world recognise it as a grand religious city. A large number of devotees are arriving to have darshan of Ramlala and experience the spiritual ambience of the temple city.

Brahma Kumari Amita said that devotees visiting Ayodhya should not return with only memories of darshan, but should also carry inspiration for love, affection, goodwill and unity with them. The sisters of the organisation will participate in the Aarti wearing their traditional white attire.

She explained that white is a symbol of peace and cleanliness. Just as even a small stain on white clothing is clearly visible, similarly, an individual should maintain purity in their deeds, character, speech and thoughts so that their conduct brings happiness and peace to others.
