Chief Minister Hemant Soren met Professor Laxmidhar Behera, Director of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mandi, at the Chief Minister’s residential office on Kanke Road in Ranchi.
During the meeting, Prof. Behera formally invited Chief Minister Soren to attend the “Shri Krishna Janmashtami Mahamahotsav”, which will be organised by ISKCON Ranchi at Kathal More in Ranchi on September 4, 2026, on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami.
The Chief Minister and Prof. Behera also discussed the potential for economic growth in Jharkhand through youth skill development and the application of artificial intelligence, robotics and modern technologies.
On the occasion, Chief Minister Soren extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes for the successful organisation of the Shri Krishna Janmashtami Mahamahotsav.
ISKCON Ranchi representatives Shri Pradeep (PR) and Shri Sudhir Krishna Chaitanya Das were also present on the occasion.
