Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that procedures for setting up industries in Madhya Pradesh are being continuously simplified. Earlier, setting up an industry required 76 different types of approvals, whereas approvals are now being granted expeditiously through the single-window system. The land-allotment process, which earlier took 50 to 60 days, has now been reduced to less than 29 days. The State Government is also continuously working to provide electricity to industries at affordable rates. Madhya Pradesh has created a conducive environment for investment and industrial development.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav addressed the virtual inauguration programme of Bhadora Industries Limited, established at a cost of ₹106.35 crore in Panwa village of Kasrawad tehsil in Khargone district, from Gwalior on Wednesday. He said that the commencement of operations at Bhadora Industries would give impetus to industrial activities in the Kasrawad region and create several new employment opportunities locally. The Chief Minister described the occasion as significant for Khargone and said that the region had immense potential for development.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that continuous efforts are being made at various levels to promote employment generation and industrial development in Madhya Pradesh. The state is observing the Year of Farmers’ Welfare. Khargone is particularly known for cotton production. The State Government has taken several important decisions in the interest of farmers, including reducing mandi tax. He said that the development of industries and farmers would further strengthen the state’s economy.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that various facilities are being provided in Madhya Pradesh in line with the requirements of electricity infrastructure, renewable energy and industrial areas. The demand for electricity and electricity-related products is continuously increasing. The establishment of such industries will create new employment opportunities for the youth. He said that the blessings of the Narmada River are also ensuring adequate availability of water in the state.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is continuously achieving new milestones in development. Investment proposals worth around ₹10 lakh crore have been brought to the ground in the state. He said that special attention is also being given to the development of religious tourism and infrastructure. Following the development of Mahakal Lok, other religious destinations in the state, including Omkareshwar, are also being developed. He said that several industrial units from across the country and abroad are being attracted to Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that anyone who comes to Madhya Pradesh once becomes a part of the state. He urged industrialists and entrepreneurs to invest in Madhya Pradesh and create new employment opportunities. He said that the commencement of Bhadora Industries would boost employment and prosperity in the region and accelerate Madhya Pradesh’s progress on the path of development.
Udyam Samvad
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also discussed various issues related to industry and employment during the Udyam Samvad. He apprised participants of the facilities required in industrial areas, electricity infrastructure, renewable energy and investment opportunities available in the state. He said that necessary facilities for industries are being expanded to provide investors with a better and more conducive business environment.
At the inauguration programme of Bhadora Industries Limited, company owner Shri Shashank Bhadora participated virtually from Dubai. MLA Shri Balkrishna Patidar, District Panchayat Chairperson Smt. Anubai Tanwar, Municipal Council Chairperson Smt. Chhaya Joshi, Smt. Nanda Brahmane, other officials and public representatives were present on the occasion.
