Education Gets a New Boost

One such story has emerged from Jhumka village in Bilaigarh development block of Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district in Chhattisgarh, where the ‘Naunihal Scholarship Scheme’ has provided fresh support for the education of a girl from a labourer family.

Phuleshwari Sahu, a resident of Jhumka village, has always wanted to see her children receive better education and progress in life despite the family’s limited financial resources. However, financial difficulties often made even the small requirements related to her children’s education a cause for concern.
Scholarship Provides Crucial Support
The Naunihal Scholarship Scheme of the Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, being implemented under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and the guidance of Labour Minister Lakhun Lal Dewangan, came as a major source of support for the family.
Under the scheme, based on the eligibility of a registered worker’s family, Phuleshwari Sahu’s daughter was directly provided a scholarship of Rs 3,000. The financial assistance proved extremely useful in meeting expenses for the girl’s notebooks, books and other educational requirements.
Phuleshwari Sahu said the Rs 3,000 assistance received from the government was not merely financial support but a means of securing her daughter’s bright future. She said the assistance had strengthened the family’s resolve that regardless of their financial difficulties, their daughter would continue her education and work towards fulfilling her dreams.
She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the state government for the support.
