A delegation of the Jharkhand Santal Students Union met Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday at the Chief Minister’s residential office on Kanke Road in Ranchi.
During the meeting, the delegation apprised the Chief Minister of various issues and challenges related to the Santali language and placed their demands and expectations before him.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren listened to the delegation’s concerns and took detailed information about the issues raised. He assured the representatives that necessary initiatives would be taken on the matters brought to his attention.
Those present on the occasion included Union President Vijay Kumar Hansda, Vice-President Suchita Daske, Secretary Harish Chandra Marandi, Joint Secretary Sangam Lata Kumari, Treasurer Dadulal Hembrom, Anand, Gopal Chandra Hansda and other members of the organisation.
