Kushabhau Thakre was Highly Accomplished Strategist and Organiser: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav paid homage to Kushabhau Thakre on his Jayanti. He visited the Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Centre on Friday and offered floral tributes at the life-size statue and portrait of the late Kushabhau Thakre.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Rashtrarishi Kushabhau Thakre was a highly accomplished strategist and an efficient organiser. He nurtured a new generation of dedicated workers within the organisation. Under his leadership and guidance, the organisation achieved new heights. In memory of the late Kushabhau Thakre on his birth anniversary, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also planted an amla sapling on the centre's premises.

Bhopal MP Shri Alok Sharma, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Rajneesh Agrawal, MLA Shri Bhagwandas Sabnani, Bhopal Mayor Smt. Malti Rai, Municipal Corporation Chairman Shri Kishan Suryavanshi, former MP Shri Alok Sanjar, Shri Rahul Kothari, Shri Ravindra Yati, Shri Jaswant Singh Hada, other public representatives and citizens were present on the occasion.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav Interacts with Media Representatives

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav extended his best wishes to all the people of Madhya Pradesh on the auspicious occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami while interacting with media representatives. He said that today also marks the birth anniversary of the late Kushabhau Thakre. The Chief Minister added that he was travelling to Janapav, where Maharishi Parshuram is believed to have presented Lord Shri Krishna with the Sudarshan Chakra. Given its religious and historical significance, Janapav will be developed as a major pilgrimage centre.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that developing religious sites has given a new impetus to religious tourism in the state. The construction of Shri Mahakal Lok has created a new impetus for religious tourism in Ujjain and across the state. He said that while around 60–70 lakh devotees and tourists visited Ujjain annually until 2022, the number has now risen to crores. Accordingly, other major religious destinations in the state are also being developed to attract more devotees and tourists, generate new local employment opportunities and ensure the overall development of these areas.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that despite all the festivals and celebrations, the government remains fully alert and committed to all its responsibilities. He said that all issues and difficulties related to Bhopal are being presented before the Hon’ble Supreme Court with utmost seriousness. The state government is fully committed to taking the best possible decisions in accordance with the Supreme Court directions. The Chief Minister said that, given the prevailing circumstances, the government would carefully consider all aspects while keeping the interests of traders and residents in mind.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state’s position would also be strongly presented before the Supreme Court. The government will make every possible effort towards finding a permanent and better solution to this long-standing issue.
