Mumbai, June 2026: Ahead of World Environment Day on June 5, the Department of Environment and Climate Change has prepared special kits containing eco-friendly items for daily use. Environment and Climate Change Minister Pankaja Munde presented these kits to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Ajit Pawar, and other members of the state Cabinet, while extending her greetings on the occasion of World Environment Day.
A campaign to promote the use of environmentally friendly products has been launched at the initiative of Minister Pankaja Munde to mark World Environment Day. As part of this effort, kits containing eco-friendly utility items have been prepared. The kits include an eco-friendly diary, a water bottle, a keychain, ceramic cups, a visiting card holder, a paper holder, and other sustainable products.
On the occasion, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis welcomed the initiative and conveyed his best wishes for World Environment Day.
