Jaipur, October 2026: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Wednesday morning took a walk with residents at Central Park in Jaipur, interacting with people, listening to their concerns and directing officials to ensure their prompt resolution.

During the morning walk, the Chief Minister warmly greeted people out for their daily exercise and engaged with them on various issues. He also sought their suggestions and instructed officials to address the problems raised by residents without delay.

Emphasising the need for a responsive administration, Sharma directed officials to remain sensitive to public grievances, provide relief to citizens and ensure that their concerns are resolved within a stipulated timeframe.

Fit India campaign promotes a healthy society

The Chief Minister encouraged citizens to adopt a healthy lifestyle through regular exercise and physical activity. He described Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Fit India campaign as an important initiative towards building a healthy society.

“When we are physically fit, our work efficiency improves, enabling us to perform our duties with greater energy and enthusiasm,” he said.

Sharma stressed that maintaining a regular morning routine plays an important role in improving overall well-being. He urged people to set aside an hour every morning for exercise, yoga or a morning walk to remain healthy and fit.

He said morning walks and regular exercise not only improve physical health but also contribute to mental well-being and a positive outlook towards life.

The Chief Minister particularly encouraged young people to develop the habit of waking up early, walking and exercising from an early age, noting that these habits could prove beneficial for their health throughout their lives.

Tea and conversation with residents

After completing his morning walk, Sharma joined residents for tea and discussed various issues with them.

He also made a digital payment through the Unified Payments Interface (UPI), encouraging citizens to embrace digital transactions and supporting the government's Digital India initiative.

Residents appeared enthusiastic to interact with the Chief Minister during the visit.

Jaipur Mayor Sunil Kothari, municipal councillors, other public representatives and a large number of morning walkers were present on the occasion.
