Rapid Development of New Districts and Citizen Facilities is Government’s Priority: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that development of new districts of the state, including Pandhurna, provision of citizen facilities and rapid development of districts are the government’s priorities. Industries will be promoted to connect youth of the area with industries and employment. Agriculture and skill development programmes will be formulated. The possibilities of animal husbandry and milk production will be further expanded here. There will be no hindrance in the development of Pandhurna district. CM Dr. Yadav was addressing members of the committee while chairing the District Development Advisory Committee meeting in Pandhurna district on Sunday.

CM Dr. Yadav said that approvals for new construction works in Pandhurna district are being issued continuously. CM Dr. Yadav obtained information about the progress of the next phase of construction works of Hanuman Lok and directed that the works be completed at a fast pace.

At the meeting, CM Dr. Yadav was informed about the development and achievements of Pandhurna district that development works worth Rs 112 crore have been completed in the district so far. These mainly include construction of Sandipani Vidyalaya Pandhurna, Sandipani Vidyalaya Sausar, Police Control Room Pandhurna and the first phase of the miraculous Shri Hanuman Temple Jamsanwali Hanuman Lok. Sandipani Primary School Pandhurna has been awarded a Gold Award by the State Education Centre under the School Certification Scheme. A total of 1,654 students are studying at Sandipani Vidyalaya Sausar. Development works worth a total of Rs 248 crore are under construction in the district, including various government offices, roads, bridges and tap water supply schemes. CM Dr. Yadav reviewed the proposed plan for Lokhit Parisar New Collector Office Building, Pandhurna.

Monthly Income Doubled after Inauguration of Hanuman Lok

It was informed at the meeting that after the inauguration of Hanuman Lok by CM Dr. Yadav, its average monthly income has increased from Rs 25 lakh to Rs 60 lakh. In the first phase, around Rs 11 crore was received through the auction of 57 shops at Hanuman Lok. The income received is being used for development and maintenance of the temple and facilities for devotees.

At the beginning of the meeting, members of the District Development Advisory Committee, Chhindwara-Pandhurna MP Shri Vivek Bunty Sahu, former Minister Shri Nana Bhau Mohod, Pandhurna MLA Shri Nilesh Uikey and Sausar MLA Shri Vijay Revnath Choure welcomed CM Dr. Yadav by presenting saplings.

Along with non-government members, Jabalpur Divisional Commissioner Shri Dhananjay Singh, Jabalpur IG Shri Pramod Verma, Collector Shri Neeraj Vashishtha, DIG Shri Rakesh Singh, Superintendent of Police Shri Prakash Chandra Parihar, CEO of District Panchayat Shri Agrim Kumar and district officers of all departments were present at the District Development Advisory Committee meeting.

Reviews Departmental Exhibitions

CM Dr. Yadav reviewed stalls and exhibitions set up by various departments at the Seva Setu Abhiyan Sarkar Aapke Dwar camp organised at Sandipani School, Pandhurna. He appreciated the work being

carried out by beneficiaries of self-employment-oriented schemes and products being prepared at the local level. Besides distributing benefits to beneficiaries, CM Dr. Yadav distributed scooters to students who performed excellently in Class 12 under the Chief Minister Scooty Scheme. The Chief Minister presented scooters to Shweta Sable, a student of Government Higher Secondary School Mordaongri, student Deepanshu Paradkar and Divya Karbe, a student of Sandipani School, and wished them a bright future.

While reviewing the stall of General Forest Division, CM Dr. Yadav obtained information about the Ayurvedic and medicinal products displayed there. Describing products prepared from locally available forest and medicinal resources as useful, he directed that better publicity and promotion be undertaken for them. During his visit to stalls of the Energy Department and Energy Development Corporation, he obtained information about implementation of the Prime Minister Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana. At the stall of the District Trade and Industry Centre, CM Dr. Yadav reviewed pickles, tomato sauce and various types of spices being prepared by local entrepreneurs. At the stall of Madhya Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission, CM Dr. Yadav reviewed Lippon Art, Mosaic Art and T-Light Craft and other handicraft products prepared by women members of self-help groups and appreciated the skills of the women. At the stall of Horticulture and Food Processing, the Chief Minister reviewed vegetables, grains and turmeric produced through natural farming.

CM Dr. Yadav Distributes Benefits to Beneficiaries of Various Schemes

CM Dr. Yadav distributed benefits to eligible beneficiaries of public welfare schemes of various departments at the programme. Tushar Subhash Kakde, a resident of Khedikala, was provided a subsidy of Rs 1 lakh for drip irrigation, while Mohan Hivse, a resident of Bhandargondi, was provided the benefit under the Tool Subsidy Scheme. Poonam Dudhkavare, Ashwini Raju Sawkar, Vaishali Hemant Saudagar, Harshala Wankhede and Kishor Dudhkavare, residents of Pandhurna, were provided benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Pension Scheme.

CM Dr. Yadav provided approval for old-age pension to Ramesh Kohle and Suresh Waghale, residents of Pandhurna, while Manisha Barange, a resident of Pandhurna, was provided benefit under the Disability Pension Scheme and Kuresha B was provided a hearing aid. Yogita Taywade, a resident of Pandhurna, was provided a wheelchair and Braille kit, while Om Prakash Mankar and Ashok Sehgal, residents of Pandhurna, received benefits under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana 2.0. Manda Wankhade, Pooja Yogesh, Apoorva Thomere and Tarun Thomere, residents of Pandhurna, were provided foodgrain eligibility slips. Vijesh Sahebrao Bhade, a resident of Pipal Pani, received the benefit of a Bio Resource Centre under the BRC Scheme, while Parvati Tiwari and Manohar Dharpure, residents of Pandhurna, were provided Ayushman cards.

CM Honours Senior Citizens and Shows Affection to Children

CM Dr. Yadav participated in the Seva Mera Yogdan and Seva Setu Abhiyan in Pandhurna district. CM Dr. Yadav attended the programme organised at Sandipani School, Pandhurna, on themes “Our Elderly, Our Pride” and “Our Children, Our Pride”.

CM Dr. Yadav honoured senior citizens present at the programme with shawls and coconuts and presented them with fruit baskets. He interacted warmly with senior citizens and enquired about their well-being. CM Dr. Yadav also met warmly with children under the Chief Minister Bal Ashirwad Yojana. He distributed drawing kits, sweets and chocolates to children. He interacted with children and showed them affection.
