Participation Reaffirms Spirit of Jan Bhagidari and Collective Responsibility Towards a Cleaner, Healthier Society And Swachh Bharat, Viksit Bharat
As part of the ongoing Swachhata campaign aligned with the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to transform cleanliness into a sustained, people-led movement, the Senior citizens residing at the SAIDS (Social Action for Integrated Development Services) Old Age Home located in Adilabad, Telangana, actively participated in a cleanliness and sanitation campaign. This distinctive initiative reaffirmed the spirit of Jan Bhagidari and collective responsibility towards building a cleaner, healthier and more sustainable society.
The Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 campaign, being observed with the theme “Swachhata Mein Sahbhag, Swachh Bharat, Viksit Bharat”, places emphasis on active participation of citizens, institutions and communities in cleanliness and sanitation activities.
Demonstrating enthusiasm and a strong sense of civic responsibility, the senior citizens came forward and participated in cleanliness activities in and around their surroundings.
