The Tamil Nadu Sports Development Authority is organizing the Tamil Nadu State Level Sports Meet – 2024, which commenced on 10.09.2024 at the Chennai Indoor Sports Arena. A total of 11,56,566 participants are competing in 36 different sports categories, including students, schools, colleges, and athletes with disabilities, as well as employees of the Tamil Nadu government.
From 4th to 24th October, in locations such as Chennai, Mayiladuthurai, and Tiruchirappalli, approximately 33,000 participants will take part in the sports meet. The Tamil Nadu State Level Sports Meet – 2024 will be inaugurated by Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Mr. Udhayanidhi Stalin, on 04.10.2024 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Sports Arena in Chennai.
