He said the objectives included making India the world’s third-largest economy, transforming the country into a global manufacturing hub, hosting the Olympic Games and achieving further milestones in space exploration.

According to Reddy, these goals formed part of a broader national resolve to strengthen India’s economic, technological and strategic capabilities.

Telangana BJP president Ramchander Rao also participated in the pledge-taking ceremony along with party workers. In a post on X, he said the leaders and karyakartas had taken the Viksit Bharat Sankalp pledge while echoing Modi’s call for collective action towards the 2047 goal.

Reddy earlier described Modi’s 25-year journey in public service as significant and highlighted what he termed the Prime Minister’s commitment to development and technology.

He said Modi’s journey from Gujarat Chief Minister to Prime Minister demonstrated his long-term commitment to public service and the objective of building a self-reliant India.

“From Gujarat to leading the whole of India, the extraordinary journey of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji is unparalleled,” Reddy said in a post on X, adding that the milestone reflected his “spirit of service” and determination to take India towards Viksit Bharat by 2047.

The programmes across Telangana formed part of the BJP’s wider nationwide celebrations marking Modi’s 25 years at the head of a government. Party leaders and workers used the occasion to highlight the Viksit Bharat @ 2047 vision and call for continued participation in initiatives linked to development, self-reliance and public service.
