Four sectoral sessions at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan will be among the key highlights of the programme, while Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will address the concluding session.

The Uttar Pradesh government has prepared a series of programmes throughout the day to showcase the state’s industrial capabilities, investment potential and opportunities across various sectors to the Japanese delegation. The discussions will go beyond formal meetings and focus on creating a foundation for long-term economic and institutional partnerships between Japan and Uttar Pradesh.

Day to Begin with Meetings with Governor and Chief Minister

On Friday morning, the Japanese delegation will visit Raj Bhavan for a courtesy meeting with the Governor of Uttar Pradesh. This will be followed by a proposed meeting with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at his official residence.

The meetings will provide an opportunity for high-level discussions on bilateral relations, investment and potential areas of cooperation. The delegation will subsequently participate in various sector-specific programmes throughout the day.

Japanese Students to Explore Uttar Pradesh’s New Education System

A group of 15 Japanese students accompanying the delegation will visit Atal Vidyalaya in Mohanlalganj. Officials from Invest UP will accompany the students during the visit.

The programme will provide the Japanese students with an opportunity to understand Uttar Pradesh’s education system and observe the modern educational models being developed in the state.

Japanese Women Delegates to Learn About 1090 Women’s Helpline

A special programme has also been organised for 15 women representatives from Japan. Following a meeting with the Minister of Women and Child Welfare, the delegation will visit the 1090 Women’s Helpline in Lucknow.

An ADG-level presentation and briefing will explain the functioning of the helpline and the state’s technology-driven women’s safety mechanisms. The programme is expected to provide an important platform for sharing experiences in women’s security and technology-enabled support systems.

Stalls representing UP NEDA, tourism, education, Invest UP, labour, IT and startups, ODOP and skill development will showcase the state’s capabilities. Japanese companies, along with institutions such as AKTU, IIT-BHU and IIT Kanpur, will also present their expertise and potential.
