“Speaker Devnani Advocates for Honoring and Empowering Specially-Abled Children”
Jaipur : Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Speaker Shri Vasudev Devnani stated that specially-abled individuals are the nation’s asset and heritage. He emphasized that society should honor them. With the support of families, communities, and medical assistance, we can change the environment. He added that disability is not a curse, but a challenge. Despite one limitation, a specially-abled person often has extraordinary abilities, which can lead to a bright future. Such children need love, affection, respect, understanding, dedication, and equal opportunities.
Shri Devnani was addressing a free medical camp and seminar organized by the Sharda Education and Development Committee at the Panchayati Raj Institute for children with cerebral palsy.
He mentioned that it is essential to bring specially-abled children into the mainstream to make them self-reliant. Everyone should actively participate in this noble cause. The event was also addressed by Dr. Taral Nagda, Dr. Gopesh Bansal, and Mrs. Neelam Sharma.
