‘UP Mart’ portal to boost entrepreneurship and propel MSME growth in Uttar Pradesh
Lucknow : In a major boost to Uttar Pradesh’s the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on Wednesday, launched the ‘UP Mart Portal’—a one-stop digital platform to help entrepreneurs access machinery, connect with service providers, and set up industries with ease. Unveiled by the Chief Minister during the ‘YUVA Conclave’, the portal aims to streamline access to essential equipment for startups and aspiring entrepreneurs.
Sarveshwar Shukla, Nodal Officer of the CM YUVA Yojana and Joint Commissioner of Industries, explained that the portal will bring together machinery suppliers, franchise owners, service providers, and technical experts from across the state. He said, “Entrepreneurs will be able to log in, search for machinery suited to their business needs, and connect directly with suppliers for quotations and inquiries. The portal is designed to save entrepreneurs’ valuable time, effort, and resources, ultimately promoting “Ease of Doing Business” and accelerating industrial development in Uttar Pradesh.”
This digital innovation is expected to inspire youth towards self-employment while giving fresh momentum to the state’s industrial growth. For machinery suppliers, it presents a golden opportunity to expand their reach by registering on the platform and connecting with potential customers across the state. The initiative is poised to strengthen the demand-supply ecosystem within the MSME sector and enhance business opportunities at every level.
