Adani Public School, Mundra Marks Silver Jubilee with New Facilities and Renewed Vision for Holistic Education
Mundra (Kutch), April 27: Emphasising its commitment to accessible, holistic, and future-ready education, Adani Foundation’s Adani Public School (APS), Mundra, celebrated 25 years of academic excellence and community impact with a grand Silver Jubilee event that brought together students, alumni, parents, and educators in a shared moment of pride and reflection.

The milestone celebration also featured the inauguration of an indoor sports complex and a state-of-the-art auditorium, underscoring the institution’s focus on all-round development in the Kutch region.
The ceremony was led by Priti Adani, whose vision led to the establishment of the school in 2001. The project gained urgency and momentum following the devastating 2001 Gujarat earthquake, when education emerged as a key source of stability and hope for affected communities.
In a message marking the occasion, Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, said the Silver Jubilee celebrates more than the growth of an institution—it recognises the dreams nurtured and futures shaped over the past 25 years. He expressed hope that students graduating from APS would carry confidence, resilience, and humility, enabling them to contribute meaningfully to society while pursuing their ambitions.

Reflecting on the school’s journey, Priti Adani noted that the institution began with a simple belief—that every child deserves an education that opens doors to the world. From an initial cohort of 233 students and 27 teachers, APS has grown into a thriving educational centre with more than 2,300 students and over 100 educators, guided by values of inclusivity, equality, and holistic development.
She described the school’s growth as a collective achievement shaped by dedicated teachers, supportive parents, and ambitious students. What began as a modest initiative has evolved into a transformative institution that continues to uplift lives and communities.
The Silver Jubilee celebrations served as a vibrant tribute to this legacy. The event began with a ceremonial welcome by the Bagpiper Band and National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets, setting the tone for a day of pride and celebration. The campus came alive with exhibitions and performances highlighting the school’s emphasis on innovation, creativity, and experiential learning.
Students showcased projects in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), along with robotics demonstrations that reflected their technical skills and problem-solving abilities. Art installations and cultural performances further highlighted a spirit of inquiry and creative expression encouraged by the institution.
A key highlight of the celebration was the inauguration of new infrastructure designed to support comprehensive student development. The indoor sports complex includes facilities for badminton, pickleball, and table tennis, promoting physical fitness and teamwork. The newly opened auditorium, with a seating capacity of 558, is among the largest in Kutch and is expected to host academic, cultural, and community events.
Another important moment during the event was Priti Adani’s interaction with alumni, parents, and student achievers, which reinforced the strong bond between the school and the community it serves. The interaction reflected shared pride in the institution’s achievements and optimism for its future.
Through its network of more than 43 educational institutions across India—including 35 Adani Public Schools, four Adani Vidya Mandir schools, and two Project Schools—the Adani Foundation continues to expand its efforts to make quality education accessible. By creating inclusive and empowering learning environments, the Foundation aims to equip students with the skills and values needed to succeed in a rapidly evolving world.
As Adani Public School, Mundra, enters its next phase, the Silver Jubilee stands as both a celebration of its achievements and a reaffirmation of its mission to shape future generations through meaningful and transformative education.
