Patriotism, Pride and Progress: Republic Day Celebrated at Om Sree Signet, Yapral

Hyderabad, Jan 2026 : Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm, dignity, and a strong sense of community at Om Sree Signet, Yapral, Secunderabad, as residents came together on the morning of 26th January to commemorate the spirit of the Indian Constitution and the values it upholds.

The celebrations began at 9:15 am near the out gate of D Block, where residents gathered in large numbers, dressed in traditional attire and tricolour hues, reflecting unity in diversity. The atmosphere was filled with pride and anticipation as families, senior citizens, and children assembled to mark one of the most significant days in India’s history.

At 9:30 am, the National Flag was unfurled with due honour, symbolising the sovereignty and democratic spirit of the nation. This was followed by the National Anthem, sung in unison by all present, creating a deeply moving moment that resonated with patriotism and respect for the nation.

The event then transitioned into a variety entertainment programme, showcasing the talent within the community. Performances by residents and children added colour, energy, and joy to the morning, reinforcing the idea that Republic Day is not only about remembrance but also celebration of our collective strength and cultural richness.

A key highlight of the event was the inauguration of the Solar Project at Om Sree Signet. This milestone reflects the community’s commitment towards sustainability, responsible living, and alignment with India’s vision for renewable energy and a greener future. The initiative was warmly appreciated by residents as a step towards environmental consciousness and long-term progress.

The celebrations also included felicitations, recognising individuals who have contributed positively to the society and community life. These acknowledgements served as an inspiration, encouraging residents to actively participate in building a harmonious and responsible living environment.
