Chhattisgarh Moving Towards Prosperity Through Good Governance

Chhattisgarh Shaped by Vishnu’s Good Governance

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, during his two-year tenure, has carved a new dimension of development in Chhattisgarh and established his unique identity as a Chief Minister who has won the hearts of the state’s citizens. He is a popular leader among the people, whose goodwill and long-term vision have facilitated the path of progress and development in the state. Coming from an Adivasi background, Vishnu Dev Sai is the first Chief Minister of the state from this community.

Recently, a conference of Police Directors and Inspectors General was organized in the state, which was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Within a year, the government led by Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has transferred ₹52,000 crore directly into the accounts of Chhattisgarh’s farmers, filling them with enthusiasm. Farmers were paid within a week of paddy procurement. With this infusion of ₹52,000 crore, farmers are making substantial investments in agriculture, which has also energized the markets and is directly impacting the urban economy. Tractor and other agricultural equipment sales have reached record levels. The provision of fair prices for paddy has increased the number of farmers participating in cultivation, with 25.72 lakh farmers selling a record 1.4925 crore metric tons of paddy last year.

On the second day after forming the government, the cabinet approved the provision of 18,12,743 Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme units, fulfilling Modi Ji’s guarantee.

In his two-year short tenure, Vishnu Dev Sai has elevated Chhattisgarh to a new height in the entire country. In a very short time, he has won the trust of the state’s people and not only that, he has implemented policies keeping their interests in mind, enabling holistic development of Chhattisgarh. This is only possible under a sensitive, diligent, and energetic Chief Minister like Vishnu Dev Sai.

Through the Niyad Nellanar Scheme in Naxal-affected villages, basic facilities such as roads, education, healthcare, and communication are reaching remote areas. So far, 69 security centers have been established in the state.

On taking oath as Chief Minister, Vishnu Dev Sai launched the Mahatari Vandan Scheme, providing ₹1,000 per month to every woman in the state, enabling them to become self-reliant and start their own businesses. Simultaneously, the government fulfilled promises like two years of pending bonus for farmers and paddy procurement at ₹3,100 per quintal, enhancing the dignity of Chhattisgarh’s farmers. The new industrial policy of the state has already attracted investment proposals worth ₹7.69 lakh crore.

During the Kharif season, paddy was procured at a fair rate of ₹3,100 per quintal. The government purchased 21 quintals per acre from farmers. Under Chief Minister Sai’s leadership, ₹52,000 crore has been transferred directly into farmers’ accounts.

The state received a historic mandate in municipal elections. With the Triple Engine government, urban development across the state is now assured.

The Chief Minister said that due to the indomitable courage of our security forces and the government’s consistent efforts, Naxalism is now taking its last breath. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has pledged that Naxalism will be eliminated by March 2026, and this commitment is clearly taking shape, especially in the Bastar region, which had long remained outside the mainstream of development. Now, a river of progress will flow there.

CM Sai added that in the past two years, 529 Naxals have been killed, 1,975 arrested, and 2,628 surrendered. Hardcore Naxal leaders like Baswaraju, Laxmi Narasimha Chalam alias Sudhakar, and Madavi Hidma, who were synonymous with terror in Bastar, have been neutralized. Bounties worth crores were announced on them.

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has taken the responsibility of working with all sections of society. Considering the basic needs of all communities, he has launched schemes like the PM Housing Scheme, Krishak Unnati Yojana, Niyad Nellanar, and Akhara Construction Scheme, creating a distinct image among the people.

He understands how to build a bridge between communities, connecting everyone so that all can contribute to the welfare of the state. By dedicating his life to public service, he has proven that his life is not just his own but fully devoted to the selfless service of the people of Chhattisgarh.

He is truly a leader for whom people come first. Leaders like him, committed and popular, are rare. For them, the development and welfare of the people are paramount. It is a matter of pride for all residents of the state that Vishnu Dev Sai is a leader from among them, whose primary focus is the happiness and prosperity of the people.
