AAP Convenor Arvind Kejriwal Meets Goa Office-Bearers, Focus on Land and Issue-Based Politics

Preparations for change in Goa’s politics; Aam Aadmi Party strengthens grassroots base for 2027

Goa | January 2026 : Clear signs of a political shift are now visible in Goa. With a focus on the hopes of ordinary citizens, the aspirations of youth, and the demand for honest governance, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor Arvind Kejriwal is once again actively engaging in Goa with full political focus. His meeting and interaction with the Goa State Committee on Saturday was not merely a formal engagement, but a strong signal of serious, grassroots, and long-term preparation for the 2027 Assembly elections.

During the meeting, party leaders raised concerns about large-scale misuse of land in Goa. They alleged that agricultural khazan lands are being damaged, while lakes and rivers are being destroyed. According to the leaders, the BJP’s flawed policies and unplanned development have severely harmed Goa’s environment and adversely affected people’s livelihoods.

AAP reiterated that its politics has never been about power, but about serving the people. With this philosophy, the party is now taking decisive steps to strengthen its organisation in Goa right down to the booth level. Kejriwal held detailed discussions with state leaders and workers on organisational structure, local issues, youth participation, and strategies for direct public outreach. The meeting reflected AAP’s seriousness, commitment, and comprehensive preparation for Goa.

For years, the people of Goa have been searching for an honest and people-centric political alternative. Despite being a tourism-driven economy, issues such as unemployment, rising prices, corruption, poor healthcare services, and neglect of common citizens continue to trouble the public. Acknowledging these ground realities, Kejriwal clearly stated that politics should not be a tool for power, but a means of serving the people. This principle lies at the core of AAP’s ideology and is increasingly resonating with the people of Goa.

The AAP government in Punjab has demonstrated that with honest intent and sound policies, historic progress can be made in key areas such as education, healthcare, electricity, and water. School transformation, Mohalla Clinics, free and quality healthcare services, transparent governance, and a strict stance against corruption have become widely discussed models across the country. The people of Goa, too, aspire for a similar development model—one where decisions are made in public interest rather than for the benefit of a select few.

Under Kejriwal’s leadership, AAP is not merely calculating electoral arithmetic in Goa, but is building a strong alternative politics rooted in public sentiment. Strengthening the organisation at village, ward, and booth levels, promoting local leadership, and encouraging participation of youth and women are giving solid shape to preparations for 2027. It is evident that AAP is moving forward not on the basis of temporary political waves, but on the foundation of lasting change.

The message to the people of Goa is clear: change is possible. Honest leadership, clean intent, and people-driven governance are the path forward. Aam Aadmi Party and Arvind Kejriwal are moving ahead on this path with confidence. The 2027 elections will not merely be about a change in power, but an opportunity to redefine the direction and character of Goa’s politics—and AAP is emerging as the strongest voice of that change.
