Blood Bank Van Procured from MLA Dr. Bora Development Fund Unveiled in Lucknow

Lucknow, Feb 2026 : A mobile blood bank van procured from the MLA Local Area Development Fund was formally unveiled with the objective of strengthening healthcare services in the region. The initiative aims to improve blood donation, storage and supply systems, thereby making emergency medical services more effective and accessible.

With the availability of this blood bank van, blood collection, blood storage and supply management will be streamlined, which will significantly enhance emergency healthcare services. The mobile facility will play a crucial role in ensuring timely availability of blood, especially during medical emergencies, and is expected to help save many precious lives.

The unveiling ceremony was held on Sunday at the Hotel Revanta premises on Sitapur Road. On this occasion, MLA Dr. Neeraj Bora said that service to humanity is the greatest service. He emphasized that strong emergency medical facilities are invaluable in saving lives and that the government is giving top priority to the expansion and strengthening of basic public health infrastructure.

Dr. Bora stated that the government is continuously working to further improve healthcare services so that citizens can receive better and timely treatment. He added that efforts will also be intensified in the future to make health services more accessible, efficient and robust.

Representatives and officials associated with the Lions Blood Bank were present at the event. Those in attendance included Lions Ram Chandra Mishra, Lions Mukesh Jain, Lions Paramjeet Singh, Lions Daljeet Singh, Lions Vinod Shrivastava, Lions Ashok Kumar Gautam, Lions Anand Arunesh, along with representatives of various social organizations and other dignitaries.
