CM Hemant Soren Listens to Public Grievances, Assures Swift Redressal in Dumka

Feb 2026 : Residents from various villages in the Khijuriya and Dumka regions met Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday at his official residence, presenting a range of civic and personal grievances. People from different sections of society participated in the interaction, highlighting issues related to basic amenities, welfare schemes, and local administrative concerns.

The Chief Minister patiently heard each complaint and immediately directed officials of the concerned departments to ensure prompt and effective resolution. Stressing accountability and responsiveness, Soren instructed officers to treat public grievances as a priority and to take concrete action within a fixed timeframe.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that his government is continuously committed to resolving the problems faced by common citizens. “Our government works with unwavering dedication to address people’s concerns. This is a government of villages and for villages,” he said. He added that the state government is implementing several public welfare schemes aimed at directly benefiting citizens, particularly those from rural and economically weaker backgrounds.

Soren urged eligible beneficiaries to actively avail themselves of the various welfare schemes being run by the state, stating that these initiatives are designed to improve quality of life and ensure social security. He reaffirmed that the administration remains people-centric and accessible, encouraging citizens to approach the government without hesitation.
