Sachcha Wada, Pakka Kam is the Hallmark of the State Government: CM Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that ‘Sachcha Wada, Pakka Kam’ is the defining identity of the State Government. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the State Government is committed to the holistic development of tribal brothers and sisters, ensuring their political, economic and social empowerment. Extending greetings on the occasion of Mata Shabari Jayanti, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Shabari Mata, an eternal symbol of selfless devotion, dedication, and spiritual practice, spent her entire life waiting for Raghuvar. The fruits of this devoted waiting were not received by Shabari Mata alone; even Lord Shri Ram was blessed by it. Love from one human to another is the hallmark of Sanatan culture. The bond between Lord Shri Ram and Mata Shabari clearly shows that there is no place for casteism in our society.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav addressed the inauguration ceremony of a water park constructed at a cost of ₹20 crore by the Municipal Council at Dhanpuri in Shahdol district on Sunday. He inaugurated the water
park by lighting the ceremonial lamp. He was felicitated with a traditional safa and garland. State Minister for Cottage and Village Industries, Shri Dilip Jaiswal and Member of Parliament Smt. Himadri Singh was present on the occasion.
Announcing the construction of a Gita Bhavan, Chief Minister Dr Yadav stated that once completed, it would provide educational facilities, including a library and coaching services, for students in the region. He also announced the construction of the Shahdol Irrigation Complex, under which four micro-irrigation projects are proposed on the Son River. With an estimated cost of approximately ₹2,300 crore, the project will expand irrigation coverage by 50,000 hectares, benefiting 122 villages. The Chief Minister further announced that Jaitpur would be upgraded to a Nagar Panchayat.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the number of seats at Shahdol Medical College would be increased once the concerned department submits the proposal. He also announced the construction of 45 kilometres of roads in Shahdol district at a cost of ₹160 crore, the construction of Arts and Science faculty buildings at Jaitpur College, and the opening of a new college. Approval was also given for the construction of a 3-kilometre-long model road.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said, emphasising the government’s commitment to the welfare of women, that several schemes, including the ‘Ladli Behna’, have been launched for women’s empowerment. Under
the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, initiatives such as the ‘Lakhpati Didi Yojana’ and the ‘Lakhpati Drone Didi Yojana’ are being implemented, along with a 2 per cent rebate for women in property registration. Women are also set to receive reservations in the Lok Sabha and Legislative Assemblies. He said the coming era belongs to women, as Indian culture has always flourished on their foundation.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, India’s global stature continues to rise, with the country emerging as a major economic power on the world stage. He stated that in agreements with the United States, Prime Minister Modi placed farmers’ interests above all. The welfare of youth, the poor, farmers and women remains the top priority. He stated that Madhya Pradesh is making continuous progress across sectors, including agriculture and industry. The state’s irrigated area has expanded to 44 lakh hectares, and large-scale employment opportunities have been created for youth.
Stating that the year 2026 is being observed as the ‘Krishak Kalyan Varsh’ to make farming profitable and increase farmers’ incomes, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that 30 lakh solar pumps will be provided to make farmers self-reliant in electricity. Special arrangements have also been made to boost milk and pulse production, which will further improve family nutrition.
Member of Parliament Smt. Himadri Singh said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, a wave of development is sweeping across the nation and the state, resulting in Dhanpuri receiving a mini-Olympic-standard swimming pool. MLA Shri Jai Singh Maravi expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav for the development initiatives announced for the region and apprised him of local needs and public expectations. Municipal Council Dhanpuri President Smt. Ravinder Kaur Chhabra delivered the welcome address and provided details about the water park and other civic initiatives.
