Road Project Worth ₹28.19 Crore Approved Through the Efforts of Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade

Raipur, February 2026 : Due to the sustained efforts of Minister for Women and Child Development and Social Welfare, Smt. Laxmi Rajwade, the Bhatgaon Assembly constituency has received a major boost in road infrastructure development. The State Government has granted administrative approval of ₹28.19 crore for the bituminous strengthening work of National Highway–43, from Birpur 12 Mile Hanuman Temple (Silphili) to Kalighat Mahavirpur (Ambikapur).

Under the leadership of Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade, continuous efforts are being made to strengthen basic infrastructure in the region. This important project will resolve the long-standing issue of the dilapidated road and provide the general public with safe, smooth, and convenient transportation facilities.

The road development work is expected to accelerate trade, transportation, and local employment opportunities in the Bhatgaon Assembly constituency and surrounding areas. It will also further strengthen connectivity with Ambikapur, a major urban centre, thereby giving a significant boost to overall regional development.

Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade stated that the expansion of public amenities and balanced development are key priorities of the good governance-driven government. She added that continuous and effective steps are being taken in the fields of roads, education, health, and social welfare to ensure comprehensive development of the Bhatgaon Assembly constituency.
