The Sacred Land of Namokar Will Inspire Society: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis

‘International Panch Kalyanak Pratistha and Mahamastakabhishek Festival’ held in the presence of the Chief Minister

Nashik, Feb 2026 : The sacred land of Namokar, which conveys the message of human values and humanity, will serve as a source of inspiration for society, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said.

The International Panch Kalyanak Pratistha and Mahamastakabhishek Festival was held at Namokar Teerth in Malsane village of Chandwad taluka in the presence of Chief Minister Fadnavis. He was speaking on the occasion. Water Resources Minister Girish Mahajan, School Education Minister Dadaji Bhuse, MP Praful Patel, MLAs Dr Rahul Aher and Dilip Bankar, Divisional Commissioner Dr Pravin Gedam, District Collector Ayush Prasad, and other dignitaries were present.

CM Fadnavis said that the Panch Kalyanak festival being held on this land, sanctified by the stay of Lord Shri Ram, is not merely a religious ritual but a symbol of India’s ancient spiritual traditions, peace, compassion, and penance. He said the message of non-violence, peace, and compassion given by the Tirthankaras is not only a guiding light for the Jain community but for the entire humanity.

He noted that the world today is grappling with environmental challenges, and in such times, the Jain community spreads the message of compassion towards all living beings and environmental conservation. The Jain community also conveys the message that the development of society is intrinsically linked to the development of the nation. He added that the community is also at the forefront of social service activities.

The Chief Minister said the state government is supporting the development of this pilgrimage site, and several infrastructure-related works have already been completed in the area. He assured that cooperation would be extended for the remaining works as well.

MP Praful Patel said that Namokar in Chandwad taluka will emerge as an important pilgrimage centre, attracting members of the community from India and abroad. He said the site will serve as a guiding centre for human welfare. He added that while the Jain community is at the forefront of industry and business, it is equally advanced in social service.

Committee office-bearer Pandhari expressed his views on the occasion. Earlier, Chief Minister Fadnavis inspected the Namokar Teerth premises and interacted with the Acharya Munis.

On this occasion, Zilla Parishad CEO Omkar Pawar, Superintendent of Police Balasaheb Patil, Assistant District Collector Kashmira Sankhye, former Union Minister of State Dr Bharti Pawar, committee office-bearers Santosh Pandhari, Kamal Tholiya, Vijay Lohadi, Dr Atul Jain, Sumer Singh Kala, Kirti Ajmera, former नगराध्यक्ष Bhushan Kasliwal, along with Acharyas, committee members, senior officials from various departments, and a large number of members of the Jain community were present.
