Rajasthan Clears ₹46,000 Crore Investment Projects, 12,000 Jobs Expected
Jaipur, February 2026 : The 6th meeting of the Board of Investment was held on Saturday at the Chief Minister’s residence under the chairmanship of Bhajanlal Sharma. In the meeting, approval was granted for customised incentive packages for 10 ultra mega projects across various sectors to promote investments worth ₹46,000 crore in Rajasthan. These approved proposals are expected to generate employment for more than 12,000 people in the state.
The Chief Minister approved customised packages under the Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme (RIPS) for ultra mega projects related to solar module and cell manufacturing, renewable energy, cement, mines and minerals, automobile, chemical, textile, and tourism sectors. He directed the Chief Secretary to ensure regular monitoring of the investment progress of companies availing RIPS benefits and customised packages. Emphasising the state government’s priorities, he said that employment generation along with revenue growth remains a key focus.
District-wise Monitoring of Rising Rajasthan MoUs:
The Chief Minister instructed officials to carry out district-wise monitoring of the progress of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) signed during the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit. He also directed that the “One District–One Product” (ODOP) initiative be further strengthened. To promote the state’s handicrafts, he instructed that special spaces be identified at major tourist and religious destinations for the sale of handicraft products. He also emphasised the need to promote new tourism destinations across the state.
The meeting was attended by Industries and Commerce Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Rathore, Chief Secretary V. Srinivas, Additional Chief Secretary (Chief Minister’s Office) Akhil Arora, Additional Chief Secretary (Industries) Shikhar Agrawal, Principal Secretary (Finance) Vaibhav Galaria, Commissioner (BIP) Suresh Kumar Ola, Additional Commissioner (BIP) Jugal Kishore Meena, along with other senior officials of the BIP department.
