Diplomats and Industry Representatives from 15 Countries to Participate in Forum
Forum to Serve as Platform for Advancing Trade, Investment and Industrial Partnerships

Bhopal, June 2026 : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will inaugurate the India–Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) Trade and Investment Forum 2026 in Indore on Saturday, June 6. The forum will bring together ambassadors, diplomatic representatives, industry leaders and investors from 15 Latin American and Caribbean countries. The objective of the forum is to strengthen trade and investment relations between India and LAC countries and promote new avenues of cooperation.

Various sessions during the forum will focus on trade and investment opportunities as well as prospects for collaboration in the manufacturing and services sectors. Discussions in the manufacturing session will cover pharmaceuticals, automobiles, textiles, and food processing, while the services sector session will highlight opportunities in information technology, tourism, fintech, and education.

The programme will also feature B2B (Business-to-Business) and B2G (Business-to-Government) meetings involving investors, industry representatives, and delegates from participating countries.

Opportunity to Showcase Madhya Pradesh’s Industrial Strength on the Global Stage

The India–Latin America and Caribbean Trade and Investment Forum 2026 will provide an important platform to showcase Madhya Pradesh’s industrial and economic strengths at the international level. The forum will present the state’s investment-friendly ecosystem, robust industrial infrastructure, and sector-specific opportunities to global investors. The event is expected to enhance commercial engagement between Madhya Pradesh and LAC countries, attract new investments and create opportunities for industries in the state to access international markets.

The forum will further strengthen prospects for cooperation and investment in key sectors such as pharmaceuticals, automobiles, textiles, food processing, information technology, tourism, and other priority industries. It is expected to reinforce Madhya Pradesh’s position on the global investment map.

The programme will also feature a special address by the Chair of GRULAC (Group of Latin American and Caribbean Countries), and a dedicated platform will be launched to promote India–LAC trade and investment cooperation. Diplomatic representatives from participating countries will also share insights on investment opportunities and business potential in their respective nations.
