Build a Spacious Cooperative Complex in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Minister of State Dr. Pankaj Bhoyer

Mumbai, Feb 12026 : As Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar is a divisional headquarters, several offices of the Cooperation Department are located in the city. To ensure greater convenience for citizens and members of cooperative institutions, it is necessary to bring all these offices under one roof. Accordingly, instructions were issued to complete, at the earliest, the construction of a spacious and well-equipped Cooperative Complex in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, said Minister of State for Cooperation Dr. Pankaj Bhoyer at a meeting held at the Mantralaya.

The meeting was attended by Additional Commissioner Nagnath Iglewar, Divisional Joint Registrar of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Santosh Bidwai, District Deputy Registrar Samrut Jadhav, and Executive Engineer Priya Pujari associated with the World Bank project, among others.

Minister of State Dr. Bhoyer directed that the pace of construction work related to the Cooperative Complex be accelerated. He emphasized ensuring that the building provides all necessary amenities for citizens visiting for official work. He also instructed that the construction of residential quarters for employees be completed.

He further directed the concerned contractor to complete the work within the stipulated timeframe, noting that delays lead to increased costs. The administration was instructed to remain vigilant in ensuring timely completion of the work by the contractor, and to initiate action as per rules in case of delays.

About the Cooperative Complex

The Cooperative Complex will include an administrative building with a ground floor plus seven storeys, with a total built-up area of 18,524 square meters. A separate seven-storey residential building is also part of the complex. The campus will feature ample parking facilities, ramps for persons with disabilities, four elevators, a guest house, and a dining hall.

The complex will house offices including the District Deputy Registrar, Special Auditor Class II, Hearing Hall, Registration Section, Stores Section, Office Staff Rooms, Divisional Joint Registrar’s Office, Special Auditor (Cooperative Societies – Mobile Squad), Taluka Deputy Registrar, Special Auditor Class II (Cooperative Societies), Regional Joint Director (Sugar), First Special Auditor Class I (Sugar), Second Special Auditor (Sugar), Special Auditor (Cooperative Societies – Banks), Cooperative Court, Special Auditor (Dairy), Special Auditor (Cotton), along with a training auditorium.
