AAP National Media In-charge Anurag Dhanda accuses CM Nayab Singh of fake joinings

  • Not a single youth in Punjab is ready to join the BJP; the CM is bringing youths from Haryana and making them join on Punjab stages – Anurag Dhanda
  • While doing such fraud, Nayab Singh should have respected the dignity of the Chief Minister’s post – Anurag Dhanda
  • BJP is using Haryana’s youth for petty politics instead of giving them jobs – Anurag Dhanda
  • By doing such fraud, the CM is cheating Haryana’s youth and insulting Punjab’s youth – Anurag Dhanda
  • Fake joinings reflect CM Nayab Singh’s desperation; he is getting no response in Punjab – Anurag Dhanda

Chandigarh, February 2026 : Anurag Dhanda, National Media In-charge of the Aam Aadmi Party, on Saturday launched a sharp attack on Nayab Singh, accusing him of orchestrating fake youth joinings in Punjab. Dhanda said that Nayab Singh is the Chief Minister of Haryana, and while indulging in such fraud, he should at least have respected the dignity of the constitutional post he holds. He termed it extremely shameful that, in an attempt to build ground for the Bharatiya Janata Party in Punjab, the Chief Minister had to bring youths from Haryana and present them as Punjab’s youth on public platforms.

Anurag Dhanda questioned the Chief Minister about whom he was trying to deceive. He said that on one hand, the Haryana government is failing to provide employment to its youth, and on the other hand, the same youth are being misused in fake events for what he called “cheap politics”. This, he said, is not only a betrayal of Haryana’s youth but also a grave insult to the youth of Punjab.

Citing facts, Dhanda said that not a single youth from Punjab is willing to join the BJP, and there are solid reasons behind this. When Punjab was facing devastating floods, the BJP-led central government chose to send assistance to Afghanistan instead of helping Punjab. During the farmers’ movement, around 750 farmers were martyred, lathi-charges and bullets were used against them, and the anger from those events is still deeply embedded in the hearts of Punjab’s people. The people of Punjab, he said, have not forgotten those frightening days.

Dhanda further clarified that the youths such as Kuldeep and Naseeb, whom the Chief Minister himself made wear party scarves during the joining programme, are all residents of Haryana. “The boys are from Haryana, the Chief Minister is from Haryana, but the drama was staged on a Punjab platform,” he said. According to Dhanda, this exposes Nayab Singh’s desperation, as he is getting no acceptance in Punjab. Wherever he goes, he faces protests, and not a single youth from Punjab is ready to join the BJP.

Issuing a warning, Anurag Dhanda said that the Chief Minister should stop such political stunts. The public, he added, has become fully aware, and every such act of deception by the BJP will continue to be exposed. He advised Nayab Singh to focus instead on providing relief to people troubled by the BJP government in Haryana, cautioning that in trying to capture Punjab, the BJP might end up losing Haryana as well.
