CM Yogi expresses grief over late RSS Pracharak Balkrishna’s death, pays tribute
Lucknow : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on Tuesday, expressed deep grief over the sad demise of Balkrishna Tripathi, the former All India Coordinator of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and former Provincial Pracharak (propagator) of Awadh, and also paid rich tributes to the departed soul.
Tripathi, who was admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia Medical Institute in Lucknow on Friday due to illness, passed away on Tuesday morning at the age of around 88 years. His body will be available for the last darshan at Bharti Bhawan from 7:30 to 10 a.m., followed by the last rites at Bhairav Ghat in Kanpur.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid his respects, writing on his social media platform X, “The passing of @RSSorg’s senior Pracharak and former state Pracharak of Awadh, Shri Balkrishna ji, is deeply saddening. I offer my humble tribute.”
He also wrote, “May Lord Shri Ram grant the departed soul a place at His feet and provide strength to the bereaved RSS volunteers and family members in this time of immense sorrow. Om Shanti.”
