New Delhi, February 2026 : After all the accused were discharged in the so-called liquor scam, Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal launched sharp attacks on PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. He said that the liquor scam was the biggest political conspiracy of independent India, created to finish the Aam Aadmi Party. I have earned only honesty in my life, and today even the court has said that Kejriwal is staunchly honest. He said that to gain power in Delhi, PM Modi and Amit Shah hatched a political conspiracy and should apologize to the country. He said the court did not even find the case fit to be tried. Modi ji knows that the public considers Kejriwal staunchly honest; therefore, he attacked my honesty.

On Friday, addressing a press conference at the AAP headquarters along with Punjab in-charge Manish Sisodia, MP Sanjay Singh, Delhi state president Saurabh Bharadwaj, and former विधायक Durgesh Pathak, Kejriwal said that for the past four years the BJP has extensively used the term “liquor scam” in Indian politics. Everyone knows how, for the last four years, ED, CBI, and all institutions were used to level the allegation called the liquor scam against us. The CBI and ED filed charge sheets. Today the court had to decide at the prima facie stage whether there was sufficient material based on evidence and witness statements to run a trial. The trial had not even begun.

Kejriwal said that in an order of about 600 pages, after considering all evidence and all witnesses, the court stated that there is not even enough evidence or witness statements to run a trial. If a trial were to run, it would go on for 15–20 years; many witnesses would be called and evidence presented. The court said the case is so trivial, fake, useless, and wrong that it cannot even be tried. These are the court’s words. This order is a historic order.

Kejriwal said the entire conspiracy was hatched jointly by PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, and today both should apologize to the entire country. They conspired to finish and destroy the Aam Aadmi Party, creating the biggest and most disgusting conspiracy of independent India. They knew the BJP could not defeat AAP in Delhi. Modi ji knew that the people of Delhi were very happy with AAP’s work. Seeing that they had no standing based on work-centric politics, they hatched this conspiracy.

Kejriwal said people know that Kejriwal is honest; therefore Modi–Shah decided to attack his honesty. People know that AAP is honest; therefore they attacked AAP’s honesty, spread lies that Kejriwal committed a liquor scam, that Kejriwal ate money, that Kejriwal ate ₹100 crore.

I earned only honesty, not money, in my life – Kejriwal

Kejriwal said he earned only honesty and respect in life, not a single new rupee. He is not like them. They wanted to attack that honesty through conspiracy. After today’s court order, it has been proven before the entire country that Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, Durgesh Pathak, and the entire AAP are staunchly honest—this is not what we are saying; the court has said it before the whole country.

Now Modi ji cannot handle Kejriwal – Kejriwal

Kejriwal said Modi ji filed many cases, unleashed ED, CBI, police, and the Income Tax Department, and sent five top AAP leaders to jail—at one time all five were in jail together—yet could not harm Kejriwal. Now the only way left is to get Kejriwal killed. Apart from that, they cannot handle him anymore.

To defeat Kejriwal, Modi ji must do work – Kejriwal

Kejriwal said there is another way, but it is beyond Modi ji. I built 500 schools in Delhi; Modi ji should build 5,000. I improved Delhi’s roads; Modi ji should fix roads across the country. I built hundreds of mohalla clinics; Modi ji should build 20,000. As Prime Minister, he should do good work—but he does not.

Families suffered due to Modi–Shah’s lust for power – Kejriwal

Kejriwal said it is only Modi ji and Amit Shah’s hunger for power that led to this conspiracy. His family suffered; he went to jail; his mother fell seriously ill. Manish Sisodia’s wife suffers from multiple sclerosis, a very serious disease, as noted by the Supreme Court.

In one year the BJP government ruined Delhi – Kejriwal

Kejriwal said families suffered, but more importantly Delhi’s three crore people are paying the price. Roads are broken, medicines are unavailable in hospitals, mohalla clinics are being shut, schools are in bad shape, pollution has worsened, and the Yamuna is in terrible condition. He challenged the BJP to name one thing they fixed in Delhi; in one year they ruined the city.

Kejriwal said Delhi’s three crore people have borne the biggest cost of Modi ji and Amit Shah’s lust for power. He challenged Modi ji to hold fresh elections in Delhi; if the BJP wins more than 10 seats, Kejriwal will quit politics.

Kejriwal said if Modi ji wants power, he should earn it through positive work. The country faces major problems; youth, traders, and industrialists are distressed. America is threatening India, yet Modi ji lacks the courage to speak against Donald Trump. He urged Modi ji to run the country and stop negative politics.

Kejriwal explained why he stayed quiet after coming out of jail: politicians are thick-skinned, but he has earned only honesty. Being called dishonest hurts; attacks on his family hurt. He decided to remain silent until proven innocent before the entire country. Today a huge burden has lifted from his heart.

Kejriwal thanked the judiciary and judges for a historic decision, showing courage despite pressure. He thanked lawyers including Abhishek Manu Singhvi, Hariharan, Rebecca, Vikram Choudhary, Dayan Krishnan, Ramesh Gupta, Shadan, Mohit Mathur, Vivek Jain, Rajat, Mohammad Irshad, Karan, and Mudit Jain, and the people across the country who stood with AAP for four years.

Kejriwal reached party headquarters after a road show

After the court decision, Kejriwal addressed a press conference at 4 pm at the party headquarters. A large crowd of leaders and workers gathered; there was celebration and congratulations. Kejriwal arrived via a road show with many supporters.

Meanwhile, AAP said the CBI special court’s historic decision rejecting the so-called Delhi excise scam is a slap on the Modi government’s face and also exposes the Congress party and a section of the media that colluded to spread falsehoods for four years. The 598-page verdict holds the case not even fit for trial, exposing attempts to jail the top leadership and damage their honest image. The verdict also dents the credibility of central agencies and exposes dirty politics based on lies and vendetta.
