Emergency Services to Remain Operational Round-the-Clock at Ambedkar Hospital During Holi
Special Instructions Issued for Medical Staff by Superintendent Dr. Santosh Sonkar
Raipur, March 2026 : In view of the Holi festival, special arrangements have been made to ensure uninterrupted medical services at Ambedkar Hospital. Hospital Superintendent Dr. Santosh Sonkar has issued necessary instructions to all departments, including doctors, nursing staff, and paramedical personnel, to maintain smooth functioning of healthcare services during the festival.
Keeping in mind the possibility of accidents and medical emergencies during Holi, Dr. Sonkar has directed that emergency services operate without any disruption. Due to the government holiday on March 4 for Holi, the Outpatient Department (OPD) will remain closed. However, emergency services will continue uninterrupted for 24 hours, as usual.
To ensure that patients visiting the emergency department face no inconvenience, instructions have been issued to keep an adequate supply of life-saving medicines available in all wards. All medical staff have been asked to remain on alert mode throughout the festival period.
Security arrangements within the hospital परिसर have also been strengthened in view of the festival. Additionally, ambulance services will be available to transfer patients, if required, to the super-specialty departments at DKS Hospital.
The hospital management has appealed to the public to celebrate Holi safely and responsibly. In case of any medical emergency, citizens have been advised to approach the emergency department of Ambedkar Hospital for immediate treatment.
