Preparations Reviewed for CM’s March 7 Foundation-Laying Ceremony

Jaipur, March 2026 :Ahead of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma’s proposed visit and the foundation-laying ceremony of the Kota–Bundi Greenfield Airport on March 7, Energy Minister Hiralal Nagar on Monday inspected the preparations at the event venue in Shambhupura. He reviewed the arrangements with officials from the Airports Authority of India and other concerned departments and issued necessary directions.

During the inspection, several public representatives and senior officials were present, including the Kota South MLA, former MLA from Keshoraipatan, divisional and district administrators, district collectors of Kota and Bundi, the Bundi Superintendent of Police, and officials from KDA, PWD and other departments.

The Energy Minister also reviewed the helipad being constructed near the venue and directed officials to ensure that all technical and security arrangements are completed well in advance in accordance with prescribed protocols, keeping VVIP movement in mind. He sought detailed information on approach roads, bus route plans for public access to the venue, and instructed officials to ensure proper parking and smooth traffic management on the day of the event.

He further inspected the main stage, large dome and seating arrangements being set up for the public. Instructions were issued for regular water sprinkling at the venue to prevent dust and inconvenience.

Additionally, directions were given to district collectors and police officials regarding security arrangements, barricading and deployment of police personnel. The minister also instructed that adequate facilities such as drinking water and mobile toilets be arranged, and emphasised that all arrangements at the venue should be fully prepared and well-coordinated.
