Minister of State Celebrates Holi with Citizens Using Herbal Gulal

Jaipur, March 2026 : Minister of State for Forest and Environment (Independent Charge), Sanjay Sharma, celebrated Holi with city residents by applying herbal gulal at the Namo Holi Utsav organised at his residence in Alwar on Wednesday.

Extending Holi greetings to the people of the district, the Minister said that the festival of Holi symbolizes love, harmony, and brotherhood, and helps strengthen mutual goodwill in society. He informed that the celebrations were held using herbal gulal prepared by the Forest Department, promoting an eco-friendly way of celebrating the festival.

During the event, Shri Sharma also celebrated Holi with persons with disabilities who had come from various places. He conveyed his best wishes by offering them sweets and spending time with them.

On the occasion, Padma Shri awardee Shri Gafuruddin Mewati captivated the audience with a soulful performance on the traditional bhapang, accompanied by Holi songs, adding to the festive spirit of the celebration.
