Tata Group Plans Fresh Investments in Jharkhand; CM Hemant Soren Highlights Historic Partnership
March 2026 : Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Wednesday emphasized the long-standing relationship between Jharkhand and the Tata Group, stating that the industrial giant began its journey from the state and has played a crucial role in shaping its economic and industrial landscape. He noted that the Group’s contributions have significantly aided not only the development of Jharkhand but also the progress of the nation.
The Chief Minister made these remarks during a press conference held at the Chief Minister’s Residential Office, where he was joined by Natarajan Chandrasekaran, Chairman of Tata Sons. The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between the state government and the Tata Group, particularly in the areas of technological advancement, industrial growth, and skill development.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Soren said that the Tata Group’s roots in Jharkhand are deeply embedded in the state’s history.
